Rich was admitted to the California Bar in 1993, joined the firm in 1996, and is a shareholder.  Her practice includes litigation on behalf of unions, their members, and working people in both state and federal court, including bankruptcy court.  She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with degrees in Economics and Psychology in 1975, having done prior undergraduate work at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  Rich did graduate study at the Freie Universitaet Berlin in the early 1980s.  She graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, CA in 1993.  At Hastings she received a Milton D. Green Top Ten Citation, served as Editor of the Hastings Law Journal, and was certified as a Public Interest Law Scholar.  Prior to joining the firm, she practiced plaintiff’s anti-trust at the San Francisco law firm of Furth, Fahrner & Mason.  She has worked on many state and federal wage and hour class actions on behalf of various low wage workers, including farm workers, janitors, truck drivers, and security guards.  She is co-lead counsel in Lubin v. The Wackenhut Corporation, Los Angeles Superior Case No. B244383, which resulted in the decision, 5 Cal. App. 5th 926 (2016) and co-lead counsel in ABM Industries Overtime Litigation, San Francisco Superior Court Case No. JCCP 4502, which resulted in the decision, 19 Cal. App. 5th 277 (2017).  In 2017 Rich was named a Daily Journal Top Labor & Employment Lawyer.
