Ashley Ikeda joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 1999. He
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii
and graduated from William S. Richardson School of Law in 1981.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Ikeda worked for Joseph A. Kinoshita,
ALC, and was Shareholder in the law firm of Tam, O’Connor
and Henderson. Mr. Ikeda is licensed to practice law in Hawaii.
Mr. Ikeda was counsel for the plaintiffs in Hawaii Carpenters’ Trust
Funds v. Stone, 794 F.2d 508 (9th Cir. 1986), wherein the Ninth
Circuit upheld the entry of default against a delinquent subcontractor
after the subcontractor failed to fulfill his obligations under
a settlement agreement, failed to file an answer and refused to
pay the trust funds’ attorney’s fees and costs, which
was a condition of the trial court to set aside the default. Mr.
Ikeda continues to represent Trust Funds in delinquency collections
and other ERISA actions.
