Jannah Manansala joined Weinberg, Roger and Rosenfeld in 2006. She received her undergraduate degree in English and Spanish with a focus in film theory and ethnic literature from Amherst College and is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Law.
Jannah first became involved in the labor movement by working as a union organizer in Florida and helped organize valet workers in the Miami Beach area. She also served as a translator and interviewer for the law firm of Talamantes, Carrera and Villegas in San Franscisco to assist in gathering plaintiffs for a successful class action against California supermarkets.
Prior to joining our firm, Jannah worked as an intern at the Office of the Public Defender in San Francisco. Jannah also interned at the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service, Civil Rights Division and assisted in providing reports to congressional staffers and creating a civil rights profile for the Filipino American community. In addition, Jannah has worked for the Asian Pacific Islander Partnership for Health and assisted in outreach and disease prevention for the Asian Pacific Islander community in Washington, D.C. During her time at law school, she served as a teaching assistant for the UC Davis Department of Asian American Studies.
Jannah is fluent in Tagalog and Spanish.
