Jordan Mazur joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in February 2009.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh Honors College in 2004 with a major in Politics & Philosophy, and graduated from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington in 2007. 

During law school, Mr. Mazur clerked for an employment law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio representing employees in discrimination and wage and hour matters.  In 2006, he participated in the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Moot Court Competition. In 2007, Mr. Mazur completed a post-graduate fellowship in labor law at Indiana University.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Mazur also clerked for a labor law firm in San Jose.

Mr. Mazur was first drawn to the labor movement by his grandfather, a coal miner and United Mine Workers of America member who recalled earning 73 cents per ton of coal shoveled prior to the union’s efforts.
