Leslie Freeman joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld as an associate in the Sacramento office in 2008.  She is licensed to practice law in California and Missouri.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Freeman practiced law in St. Louis, Missouri where she litigated in state and federal court, as well as in the federal courts of Illinois, Kansas, and North Carolina.

She represented individuals and unions in labor and employment matters, advocated for domestic violence victims in family law matters, and served the public interest as a trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and as executive director for the Federal Eighth Circuit Gender Fairness Task Force and the State of Missouri Task Force on Gender and Justice. She also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, Saint Louis University Law School, and Washington University School of Law.
