Manjari Chawla joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2006.  She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall, where she was a member of the California Law Review.

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Chawla was a staff attorney at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center in Los Angeles, where she worked on numerous civil rights matters.  Ms. Chawla has successfully advocated changes to state law, resulting in increased protections for immigrant consumers.  She also served as a lead organizer in the successful campaign to defeat Proposition 54, which would have prohibited the gathering of critical data on race and ethnicity in California.
