Deducting Retiree Dues from CalPERS Monthly Benefit

CalPERS has a “Direct Authorization Program” that allows a Union to set up a program to allow retirees to continue paying Union dues by means of an automatic dues deduction from a retiree’s monthly pension check.

Any public sector Union can use this program to make it easier for members to keep up with their monthly dues.
