Corey Kniss joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2020 as an associate in the Los Angeles office.  He earned his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Channel Islands in 2014 and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2019.

While at Hastings, Mr. Kniss advised low income workers under the supervision of attorneys from Legal Aid at Work through the Workers’ Rights Clinic, and also worked to prevent evictions as a law clerk at the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County by counseling low income tenants at weekly clinics.  Mr. Kniss is now a frequent supervising volunteer attorney at the Workers’ Rights Clinic, and holds a Steering Committee position on the Workers’ Rights Committee of the National Lawyers Guild Los Angeles chapter.  Prior to joining Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld, Mr. Kniss worked for a Los Angeles based law firm.

Mr. Kniss is licensed to practice law in California.  His work includes representing public and private sector unions and the workers they represent in state and federal litigation, arbitrations, administrative hearings, including before the Public Employment Relations Board, and by providing advice on labor and employment matters.  Mr. Kniss is dedicated to a career in the law that focuses on building power for working people.
