Craig Schechter joined Weinberg Roger and Rosenfeld in April 2021. He represents and advises Taft-Hartley employee benefit trust funds that provide retirement, health and welfare, training, and other collectively bargained benefits to union members. He has expertise in ERISA compliance and litigating cases involving collection of delinquent contributions owed to employee benefit trust funds. Prior to joining WRR, he worked at several Bay Area law firms practicing ERISA compliance and litigation on behalf of employee benefit trust fund clients.

After graduating law school, Craig served as a law clerk with the Massachusetts Superior Court, and then worked for several years as a staff attorney for a non-profit organization dedicated to combatting housing discrimination, enforcing fair housing laws, and educating housing providers on their fair housing obligations. He relocated to the Bay Area in 2015.
