Gary Provencher is a shareholder in our Sacramento office. Mr. Provencher received his undergraduate degree with High Honors in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and his law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, where he was awarded the Ohio State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.

Mr. Provencher represents both public and private sector Unions and their members on a wide variety of issues including free speech issues, Union organizing, disciplinary matters, contract interpretation, and race, age, gender, and disability discrimination. Mr. Provencher also advises Unions on numerous labor-management issues and has experience as acting as Parliamentarian for Unions’ Board of Directors.  He has presented cases in numerous forums including Federal and State Courts, arbitrations, the State Personnel Board, the Public Employment Relations Board and other administrative forums.
