Matt joined Weinberg, Roger and Rosenfeld in 2020 as an associate in the Emeryville office. He is licensed to practice law in California. Matt represents unions and workers in a variety of labor and employment law matters, including in representation and unfair labor practice proceedings matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and in labor arbitrations. Matt also represents workers in wage and hour litigation.

During law school, Matt worked at two labor unions as a Peggy Browning fellow and legal extern. Matt also worked with immigrant workers facing wage theft as a law clerk at a legal services organization. Matt supported workers seeking to organize their workplace through UCLA Law School’s Immigrant Family Legal Clinic. He also served as the Co-Executive Director of El Centro Legal, through which law students volunteer at thirteen legal clinics throughout Los Angeles. Prior to law school, Matt worked at a nonprofit organization focused on enforcing and expanding the rights of migrant workers and immigrants.

Matt received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 2011. In 2020, he received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Public Interest Law & Policy. Matt speaks Spanish.
