Xochitl Lopez joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2015, where her practice focuses on traditional labor law. Prior to coming to the law firm, Xochitl worked at another Union-side firm where she served private and public sector labor unions, as well as individual and class plaintiffs in wage and hour lawsuits.

Before entering law school, Xochitl worked with the United Auto Workers (UAW), primarily representing workers in public higher education, but also in the auto and gaming sectors. At UAW, she worked as a staff organizer and an International Representative, in addition to serving as the first elected president of a newly-organized 6,000-member statewide Local.

Xochitl received her J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law (Order of the Coif) in 2012. She speaks Spanish and maintains an interest in immigrant workers rights.
