Sara Zollner joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2022 as an associate in the Emeryville office. Ms. Zollner represents unions and workers in a variety of labor and employment law matters, including in wage and hour litigation, labor arbitration, and representation and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). She provides training and advice on a variety of labor and employment issues. Ms. Zollner also conducts workplace investigations on behalf of unions. 

Prior to joining WRR, Ms. Zollner worked as a Justice Catalyst / Public Rights Project fellow in the Workers’ Protection Unit in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. In that role, Ms. Zollner developed an innovative civil and criminal workers’ rights litigation practice, representing thousands of workers across the state of California in misclassification lawsuits and criminal wage theft investigations.

Ms. Zollner earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, during which time she advised state and local governments on strategies to advance workers’ protections and represented low-wage tenants in eviction proceedings.

Growing up in a third-generation union family, Ms. Zollner is deeply committed to the labor movement and to serving unions and their members.

Ms. Zollner is licensed to practice law in California.
