Benefits available to immigrants in California

While  Congress has thus far been unable to pass  an immigration reform bill, it is important to note that in California immigrants have access to a number of state and federal benefit programs.  The National Immigration Law Center (NILC) has compiled a list of resources that they keep updated summarizing the different programs available to immigrants in California here.  The resources provided by NILC detail the qualifications required for eligibility in the various programs.

For information concerning non-California specific immigrant eligibility for and access to public benefits, click here, or visit http://www.nilc.org/access-to-bens.html or https://www.healthcare.gov/immigration-status-and-the-marketplace/.
