We negotiate collective bargaining agreements in the public and private sector, enforce statutory civil service rights of employees in administrative proceedings and in court; and advise and defend unions and workers confronted with subcontracting and layoffs. We defend employees challenged with license or credential revocation and unions accused of picket line offenses. We also advise unions on agency shop issues, “Beck” obligations, and train shop stewards and business representatives. We enforce arbitration awards in state and federal court and pursue various collection actions against recalcitrant employers.
