Michelle Calcany Blair is an associate in the Emeryville office who joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2025. She represents labor unions before state and federal agencies, as well as in arbitrations and litigation.

Ms. Calcany Blair received her juris doctor from UC Davis School of Law. At Davis, she worked in the Civil Rights Clinic, assisting incarcerated individuals whose Constitutional rights had been violated by state and police entities. She also served as Chair of her school’s Reproductive Justice club, where she led educational events and provided healthcare products and information to students. Further, as Symposium Editor for the Immigration and Nationality Law Review, she co-led the school’s Symposium discussing the immigration field under the Trump presidency.

Before joining Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld, she worked at Legal Services of Northern California, where she provided free legal aid to low-income communities that faced housing insecurity, as well as welfare and public benefit issues. She also previously worked at the Youth Law Center, crafting policy proposals to support youths in the foster care and juvenile justice system.

In a society where labor and other political movements overlap, Ms. Calcany Blair is honored to serve labor organizations, and in doing so, fight for the civil rights of workers.

Ms. Calcany Blair is the proud daughter of two public school teachers that served as Union representatives. She is licensed to practice law in California.
