Kristina Hillman

Kristina Hillman is a shareholder who joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld as a clerk during law school and thereafter as an associate attorney in 2000. Ms. Hillman is responsible for administering the arbitration practice for WRR, which is an extremely high-volume undertaking as the firm opens approximately 1,000 arbitration files annually for labor union clients throughout the western United States and Hawaii. In this role, Ms. Hillman oversees all aspects of the firm’s arbitration practice, from assessing and assigning cases to litigating petitions to compel arbitration.

In addition to leading WRR’s arbitration practice, Ms. Hillman has extensive jury and bench trial experience in state and federal courts, including having served as lead trial counsel. Ms. Hillman also practices traditional labor law on behalf of unions and employee benefit funds, including for multi-employer Taft-Hartley trust funds in California, Nevada, and Oregon.

Ms. Hillman received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and her juris doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law. During law school, in addition to clerking for WRR, Ms. Hillman worked at the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic at Golden Gate University, handling unemployment insurance cases, FMLA/CFRA cases, and pregnancy and sex discrimination cases. In 1998, Ms. Hillman was a finalist in the Golden Gate University Appellate Advocacy Competition. Ms. Hillman was awarded the Public Interest Student of the Year Award upon her graduation in 2000.

Ms. Hillman is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada.
